John Mack, author of Pharma Marketing Blog and publisher of Pharma Marketing News, today urged physicians to boycott the sleep aid drug, Rozerem, by refusing to write prescriptions.
"The next time you see a Takeda sales representative," Mack urges physicians, "tell him or her that you are boycotting the product."
The call for a boycott was prompted by a statement made by Takeda -- the drug company that markets Rozerem -- in response to a letter from the FDA warning the company that some Rozerem ads violated FDA regulations.
For more on this and what Tkeda said that riled Mack so, see today's post to Pharma Marketing Blog.
